1800's Rural Village and Homestead

Includes the Mt. Tabor United Brethren church(Circa 1850) moved from Hagerstown, Glass family log home (Circa 1804) moved from Sharpsburg, Dr. Daniel Fahrney's Office moved from Boonsboro, a Cobbler's shop, Broom Maker's shop, Spickler's Country Store from Fairview, and Blacksmith shop. All of these buildings, except the Blacksmith, Broom Makers and Cobblers Shop, were moved from their original locations to the Village.
On the hill above the Rural Village is the Rural Homestead. On this site is a 1939 windmill from the Doubs farm, the Poffenberger family cabin, the Reeder family Cabin, outdoor drying shed, brick fired wood oven, Frick 1939 sawmill, a German 4-Square Garden and Butterfly garden.
